Business Analyst

Title: Sr/Lead Business analyst 

Location: Falls Church, VA

Job Description:

The primary purpose of the Business Analyst will be to

• Assisting with the business case analysis
• Work with key stakeholders as the lead of the business team
• Eliciting requirements
• Work in an Agile environment to create user stories, backlog refinement etc.
• Requirements analysis and organization
• Translating and simplifying requirements
• Ability to create requirement and design documents, workflow diagrams, mockups (Hybrid Agile)
• Requirements management and communication

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 7+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis
• 1+ year working in Health and Human Services (HHS) domain 
• Ability to translate business requirements to technology 
• Experience working in an Agile environment 
• Good communication skills
• Ability to write design documents

Preferred Experience

• Work in Health and Human Services in State Govt
• Work in Integrated Eligibility, Child Care, SNAP, TANF
• Work in Child Welfare domain
