An insurance-based technology company delivering SaaS/Cloud solutions based in the City of London are looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team.
Requirements
London Market Experience and exposure to the wider global insurance process (especially from a data perspective and how it moves around electronically vs manually) - the end to end business process.
The role is ideally suited to someone currently performing in an IT BA role at an InsurTech provider interfacing between IT and the end business user.
Essential experience
- Understanding of the entire business process life cycle, including:
- Point of sale
- Placement
- Underwriting
- Premium booking/processing
- Claims through to Accounting
- Finance, Cash Management
- Regulatory reporting (Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's) - and how this translates into Policy Administration systems and supporting modules (Broker and/or Insurer)
- Exposure/understanding to the DXC (Xchanging Process) either Broker or Insurer bias
- Exposure to PPL (if Broker led)
- MGA/Delegated Underwriting Authority knowledge - bordereau management
- Business Requirements Definition
- Proven ability to see a project through from pre-sales through to testing
- Client facing
Desirable
- Project Management (Software projects ideally)
- Software Implementation, including training and testing
- Functional or Technical Design Specifications creation
- Pre-sales/RFI experience
