We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to analyze maintenance and supply data to identify opportunities to increase aircraft availability.
As a client-facing Data Analyst in a Department of Defense program office, you’ll provide analytical insights to support decision-making across the system life cycle to increase aircraft availability. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data related to system performance, sustainment, and operational readiness. This role requires a strong analytical skill set, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a high-paced environment.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, and data visualization, preferably in a defense or government program setting
Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, such as Python, SQL, R, Excel, or Tableau
Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
Knowledge of how to conduct in-depth analysis to support program decision-making and identify actionable insights
Ability to create visualizations from large data sets in Tableau
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science
Nice if You Have:
5+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics in a weapon program office, defense, or government contracting environment
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI techniques
Knowledge of logistics and maintenance data systems, including Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or similar defense logistics platforms
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Data Analytics Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
