Role Summary






The Carrier Data Analyst supports the Carrier Management team by maintaining strong relationships with carriers and stakeholders across our inbound and outbound supply chain. This role is responsible for optimising supply chain operations by ensuring transparent and accurate data, managing rate cards, and monitoring carrier performance. The Carrier Data Analyst also plays a key role in supporting procurement teams, assisting with contract renewals, and leading smaller projects related to carrier performance and reporting.









What You'll Be Doing






  • Build and maintain simplified views of rate cards, manage validity and cadence of communication with finance partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with pricing teams of inbound/outbound carriers, collaborating with internal teams as necessary.
  • Manage contract renewal deadlines, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support service level improvements.
  • Support project delivery, including setting up new carriers or services and running smaller change projects.
  • Monitor carrier performance in terms of on-time delivery, cost, and service quality, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide consolidated reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to carrier performance, cost, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Import, Shipping, and Transport Managers) to improve overall delivery experience.
  • Build awareness of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Work with Customer Service teams to ensure accurate reporting on customer satisfaction in line with carrier customer experience reporting.








What You'll Need






  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Essential).
  • Ambition and drive to deliver tasks on time and to schedule.
  • Ability to identify opportunities through data analysis and highlight exceptions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong self-awareness, adaptability, and resilience.
  • Experience working within a logistics operation or global organisation (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade laws (Desirable).
  • Previous experience in carrier management or supply chain operations (Desirable).
