Supply Chain Finance - Data Analyst

The Supply Chain Finance – Data Analyst will work on initiatives that drive positive business impact to produce and deliver meaningful, accurate, actionable, and timely analysis for the C-suite and all levels of operational leadership throughout the Verve LLC organization.

We are looking to hire a versatile and highly-organized data analyst who will act as a liaison between the Sales, Operations, Logistics, IT and Finance teams, providing analysis and insights of supply chain costs and demand forecasts, support business initiatives, and ad-hoc requests.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Develop KPI Dashboards for CEO/C-Suite: Track key business trends and provide accurate metrics, insights and analytics, to assess the timely impact of different supply chain strategies

  
  

  Revenue and Gross Margin Analysis:  Track revenue operations metrics on customer profitability and product profitability across wholesale, retail and web

  
  

  Cost Analysis: Identifying cost drivers, analyzing cost trends, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

  
  

  Inventory Optimization: Analyzing inventory levels, identifying excess or obsolete stock, and recommending strategies for inventory optimization.

  
  

  Curiosity and passion for data: A genuine interest in understanding data and its potential to drive business outcomes and staying updated on the latest data analysis techniques and tools and exploring new ways to leverage data.

  
  

  Required Technical Skills:

  
  

  Data Collection and Cleansing: Gathering, organizing, and cleaning large datasets from various sources using Advanced SQL or Tableau queries

  
  

  Data Analysis & Visualization tools:  Proficiency in advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.)  and extensive experience with tools like SQL, Python and Tableau

  
  

  Financial Modeling: Applying statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify patterns, trends, and insights.

  
  

  Strong analytical skills: Ability to approach challenges with a structured and logical mindset and break down complex problems, identify key variables, and draw meaningful conclusions.

  
  

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess skills that include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data sciences, supply chain, operational finance, or business analytics


• Strong background in a Data Analytics role within retail, consumer products, restaurants, hospitality, e-commerce or similar industries.


• Experience building C-suite dashboards to report on KPI’s across business units with deep knowledge of associated metrics and concepts, such as average order value(AOV), gross to net sales, fulfillment costs, unit economics, gross margin vs contribution margin, channel economics, liquidity and free cashflow etc. etc.


• Team player with effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
