Darigold is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team. The Supply Chain Data Analyst is responsible for providing data mining, cleansing and reporting support to the Bulk Milk Hauling team. The Bulk Milk Hauling team manages milk pickups from over 300 dairy farms across the Pacific Northwest and inter-facilities bulk fluid movements between over 60 manufacturing plants nationally.  With an enhanced focus on continuous improvement, this role leads the charge on enabling data driven storytelling, process and network design and optimization and will enable business owners to make improved decisions through your work. 


 The Supply Chain Analyst will own the process from discovery through delivery as well as ongoing support of internal customer needs.  If you are excited by the autonomy to work on interesting data projects throughout the supply chain and your passionate about driving end-to-end solutions, this role supports that all-in perspective of Supply Chain Operations. 


What You Will Do:



  • Performs data mining with a focus on identifying new data sources as well as standardizing those sources to ensure repeatability 

  • Work with the IT Business Intelligence team to test emergent datasets and define specifications for moving datasets from source systems to public repositories for incorporation to reporting 

  • Provides data profiling regarding the nature of datasets and proposes a combination of cleaning as well as passing along potential source system issues to BI partners 

  • Develops and enhances dashboards to meet customer expectations and maintains them as the business evolves 

  • Extracts data from various databases; performs exploratory data analysis, cleanses, massages and aggregates data

  • Employs scaling & automation to data preparation techniques to ensure repeatability

  • Understands business initiatives and serves as primary analytic resource in discussions with business partners to define business questions

  • Promotes and advocates value of advanced analytics to solve business problems within department

  • Prepare and disseminate monthly reports to support operations and finance teams


 What You Bring:



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent work history 

  • Experience with Excel in the following, ways, but not limited to pulling data from various sources and creating summaries; developing KPI reports, cost modeling; setting up interactive pivot tables; using logical functions 

  • Familiarization with VBA and writing Macros preferred 

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations (Transportation, Planning, Inventory) support required 

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing field in an analytical or planning role preferred 

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or developer tools (required) 

  •  Experience with Power BI, Tableau or another data visualization tool preferred 

  •  Ability to collaborate with internal supply chain customers to determine reporting needs

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, to include expert level skillset with Excel 

  • Comfort with one or more analytical programming language: R, Python, etc.
