The Opportunity:

As an experienced Sr Level Data Engineer at HARAMAIN SYSTEMS INC., you will have the opportunity to work on intricate data architectures and systems. You will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, creating complex queries and scripts, and ensuring high data quality, among other tasks. Job Responsibilities:

• Design, construct and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines
• Develop complex queries and scripts for data analysis and extraction
• Maintain data quality, and oversee data security and compliance
• Perform data modeling to optimize for performance and usability
• Collaborate with different teams to assist in data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Minimum five years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Shell
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or AWS

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Certifications in relevant tools, technologies or methodologies (like Google or AWS Certifications)
• Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling
• Strong project management skills, with a proven record of delivering on complex, multifaceted projects
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI is a plus.
