The Team

Mattel's regional IT BA team of 4 operates within the Global Technology Organization (GTO). The GTOs primary purpose is to modernize our technology architecture, deliver a best-in-class, end-to-end business transformation across all brands and regions through technology. Standardize global business processes through modern technology platforms. Improve the way we work, Reduce costs across the enterprise & position Mattel for technology-enabled growth.

Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to work within a small regional IT team. Reporting into the regional IT Director, primary responsibilities include liaising between IT, business users and 3rd party IT delivery partners, analyzing business needs, providing support on key business applications and helping to improve the quality of our services. Opportunities to work on regional & global IT transformation projects, supporting rollouts and participating in solution discovery activities.

  • Consultation and escalation point to business users in EMEA.
  • Solicit business requirements for regional and global projects.
  • Acquire subject matter knowledge in a broad range of business processes and applications.
  • Finding local solutions and quick wins to help business users.
  • Drive adoption and standardization of business tool use.
  • Participate in regional and global transformational project work.
  • Build relationships with team members and key business partners.
  • Bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to experienced & long serving teams.
  • Use insights and data to help drive and facilitate improved services of our internal & 3rd party technology providers.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or other IT related subjects.
  • 3-4 years experienced in a business facing IT role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Problems solving skills, an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work individually and part of a team.
  • Additional technology skills + knowledge of MS 0365 suite, MA Teams & collaboration tools is a bonus.
