The role sits within the AI domain, which is responsible for the algorithms that power ASOS’ digital ecosystem. From Recommender Systems through to forecasting models that drive key operating decisions, the teams maintain, build and innovate in some of the most interesting areas of AI at scale, training models on unique datasets, transactions and clickstream data.
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you’ll be joining a Big Data team responsible for driving a large-scale data driven transformation project, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across Tech including Product Managers, Data Scientists, Engineers and Architects to prioritise requests into the team, managing the plan, risks and dependencies. Your data analysis expertise will play a key part of the role, in driving requirements and ensuring quality solutions are delivered.
Who we’d like to meet
We are looking for a passionate Senior Technical BA with experience managing data driven technology projects, who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels and proactively driving requirements to a resolution, while ensuring alignment to the underlying needs of the project and strategic direction.
You have a strong technical understanding of data concepts, data development and technologies, including data lake, data preparation steps and ETL/ELT processes. You are passionate about data and focus on data quality and governance, with experience working with large datasets. You have experience of managing data products, taking them from conception to go-live, through the product development lifecycle and measuring success across key KPIs.
You are an individual with a strong problem-solving mindset, doing what it takes to solve the problem for the customer, both internal or external. You have excellent communication skills, you’re a good listener and you’re able to adapt your approach based on whom you’re interacting with. You are approachable, collaborative and you actively nurture a diverse and inclusive workplace.
