Senior Data Analyst (Grade 5)

Location: Galway

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join the Cash and Positions Development team in the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology group.

The Expertise You Have

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in Data Analytics or Data Science roles.
• Experience in ETL/ELT tools: Informatica or Snaplogic.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ML and Python.
• Experience working with Oracle/Relational databases.
• Solid understanding/experience of Cloud technologies and deployments in AWS using EKS, EC2, RDS and Docker is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry would be advantageous.

The Purpose of Your Role

The Senior Data Analyst will be part of a global team that focuses on building solutions supporting Fidelity’s Investment Operations group. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will gather business requirements and translate them into data solutions. Define use cases and simplify complex concepts relating to data management. Defines user stories and break up complex work into digestible work elements. Performs data analysis and participates in projects with diverse scope, including complex business and technical requirements in a multi-platform and highly integrated data environment. Defines and communicates sophisticated concepts of data analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.

The Cash and Positions Development team works within the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations group which provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. FFIO are actively seeking an expert Senior Data Analyst to help us deliver our next generation platforms.
