Requirements
As a Senior Data Analyst on the Capco Technology Team, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics, agile methodologies, and engineering best practices to develop and implement robust analytical solutions. You will collaborate closely with business and technology partners to design scalable data environments, deliver actionable insights, and drive advanced analytics and automation initiatives. Your role is pivotal in building strategic data platforms and ensuring seamless integration between business needs and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Platform Development:
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to build scalable and robust strategic data platforms.
- Understand business-specific data sources, elements, relationships, and their applications.
Data Analysis & Coding:
- Write and optimize SQL queries to handle complex data operations.
- Perform coding tasks using Python, including script execution and log analysis.
- Work on UNIX platforms to execute commands and manage data-related operations.
Advanced Analytics:
- Apply statistical and mathematical techniques for risk analysis using Python, R, and SQL.
- Partner with clients to implement machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and automation capabilities.
- Conduct exploratory analysis to gain insights into specific business areas.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities through Python and VBA automation.
- Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and implement solutions to enhance decision-making.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with peers, clients, and management to resolve issues and deliver project goals.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, end-to-end analytical solutions.
- Create and manage technical and business user stories in Agile environments using Jira.
