What is the Role:
The Risk Function is an independent, second line of defence function that monitors, controls and supports risk-taking activities across AIB. The purpose of the Risk Function is to provide advice and guidance in relation to risk while providing independent oversight and reporting on AIB’s risk profile.
The Risk Function’s main objective is to ensure AIB has a robust risk management framework and culture in place to ensure risks are taken within the risk appetite set by the Board, in support of AIB’s customer franchise and social responsibility.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Risk Enablement, the successful candidate will support the evolution of the Risk function in the design of its data infrastructure, technology use and analytical capabilities. The role will support the delivery of our target data and technology infrastructure allowing us to adapt quickly to changing customer needs, regulatory requirements and market

In AIB the Risk Technology & Transformation team is responsible for AIB’s Risk Technology strategy, supporting the transformation of the AIB Risk team into a technology, data and analytics enabled organisation.
