Your role: As a Senior Data Analyst, you will drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. In conjunction with performing quality analyses to identify business opportunities, you will use advanced business knowledge and high-level communication skills to guide and influence peers and leadership to make data driven decisions.

 

  • Measure usability and effectiveness to make recommendations for improvements, and work with marketing, usability, and web development teams to optimize website design, digital content, and performance. 
  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. 
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends and patterns using statistical models and report results of statistical analyses that provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities. 

 

Who you are: 

Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and highly skilled at providing actionable insights from a combination of data sources. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or related field
  • Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Math, Actuarial Science, Data Science or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Math, Actuarial Science, Data Science or related field
  • Highly proficient in
    • Structured Query Language (SQL), Relational Database Management Systems and Cloud Databases 
    • Digital analytics tools such as Adobe SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Optimizely
    • Proficient in reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Google Data Studio
    • Programming skills such as R, Python, JavaScript, C/C++
    • Statistical Programming Packages such as R, S, SAS, SPSS 
  • Ability to conduct complex, important work independently
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify areas of improvement
  • Ability to lead multiple complex projects involving technology development, many team members, and external collaborators
  • Proven leadership skills or project management experience
