About the team:


Turo is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team and turbo-charge growth. The Senior Data Analyst will work within the Demand domain and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Finance. This person will primarily focus on marketing channels such as CRM, SEO, social media and other organic growth strategies to grow Turo’s top of the funnel traffic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data-driven decision-making, have a strong analytical background, and be capable of translating data insights into actionable marketing strategies.


What you will do:



  • Develop a keen understanding of our business and build expertise within the demand domain

  • Drive CRM and user lifecycle strategies through data analyses, A/B tests, and reporting

  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to evaluate the incremental impact of various CRM initiatives, including push notifications, email campaigns etc.

  • Develop a detailed understanding around guest lifecycle, segmentation, retention and lifetime value of users

  • Develop Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate domain performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders on these metrics

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and engineering throughout the project lifecycle to develop effective strategies and ensure successful implementation and measurement

  • Create analyses that tell a “story” focused on insights that drive business impact

  • Own all aspects of reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with stakeholder requirements.


Your profile:



  • 3-5 years of using analytics to drive strategic business decisions; examples include marketing/product analytics or strategy consulting; experience in consumer tech, marketplaces or e-commerce a strong plus

  • Top notch quantitative skills; strong proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis and using metrics to drive business results

  • Extensive experience with SQL required; additional experience with BI & visualization tools is a strong plus (i.e. DOMO, Looker, Tableau)

  • Experience transforming data into presentations that “tell the story” behind the data

  • Very strong attention to detail. Comfortable working with various data sources, having the ability to identify inaccuracies and root causes of data issues

  • Experience in building data infrastructure and implementing reporting solutions
