We are looking for Senior Business Data Analyst from a Risk and Control background within financial services to join our team. The role requires strong data analysis and stakeholder management skills, using data for process optimization.

Responsibilities

About the role

The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:

  • The role works closely with Risk, Control and Compliance functions and central reporting teams;
  • Responsible for senior management reporting;
  • Using data to optimize processes;
  • Liaising between risk management functions and technologists to prototype and define reporting and analytical requirements in a concise, logical, and understandable way;
  • The role will require a strong ability to use and interpret data, including analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques;
  • Work with and provide thought leadership and build consensus across multiple stakeholders

 

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
  • Experience within Risk and Controls functions
  • Risk Management background
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Tableau / SQL / Python would be an advantage
  • Agile delivery knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
