About Blank Street

At Blank Street, we believe that rituals matter and that great rituals make your life better. With coffee shops across the US and UK, we are working to transform the high street grab-and-go coffee transaction into an experience that is higher in quality, hospitality, and joy.

Our Values

  • Magic is in the Details: We value attention to detail in everything we do. We're always thinking about the small things that make a moment meaningful.

  • Move as One: We value people who strive to be the best team player, not individual stars.

  • “My Home is your Home” Hospitality: We look for individuals who treat others the same way they'd treat a guest in their home. We care about presentation, hospitality, and having fun even when things are stressful.

What’s Brewing?

As our Senior Business Analyst in Operations Planning, you will bring a highly analytical and strategic mindset with supreme attention to detail to own the demand forecasting, weekly par levels for our core SKUs and supply chain process improvements. You'll translate the Finance and Strategy team’s sales demand forecast into actionable plans at both the external ordering level with suppliers and the internal store demand. You'll be responsible for key KPIs and analyses from an inventory management perspective, communicating directly with our suppliers' procurement teams and collaborating closely with Operations Managers. Your role will have a direct impact on core business KPIs such as working capital, wastage, and other critical metrics that keep the business running smoothly.

What You'll Own:

  • In-Store Inventory Ordering: You'll develop from the ground up the model for weekly inventory orders, analysing and adjusting par levels of the core SKUs based on internal and external key data points to optimise in-store availability and working capital.

  • Demand Forecasting: You’ll own the stock core lines forecasting updating and aligning with business operations, operations and finance. You'll manage inventory procurement with third-party suppliers, ensuring accurate and timely orders that align with inventory needs, production planning, and business strategy.

  • Supply Chain Process Development & Improvement: Build, refine, and manage scalable initiatives of supply chain processes, including inventory procurement, process improvement, vendor relationships, and in-store inventory optimisation.

  • Inventory Management KPI Tracking and Reporting: You'll develop key inventory management KPIs from the ground to build a periodic report that provides insights to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Data-Driven Strategy & KPI Management: Develop forecasting tools and models, test assumptions, and provide insights on key KPIs to drive continuous improvement in operations.

  • Collaboration with Finance: You'll partner directly with the Finance team to understand and unpack weekly/monthly metrics, identifying any data discrepancies, approvals or issues that need resolution.

  • Collaboration & System Management: Partner with Finance to align demand planning with inventory management, and oversee the maintenance of our ERP system, including SKU management and issue resolution.

Who You Are:

  • Analytical Thinker: You excel at analysing data and using it to make informed decisions that drive business success.

  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, ordering, and inventory management.

  • Strategic: You can see the big picture and develop strategic plans that align with our business goals.

  • Collaborative Partner: You work well with different teams and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a smooth execution of projects and initiatives

  • Proactive Problem Solver: You anticipate potential issues and address them proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
