Summary:

In this role you will collaborate with Engineers and stakeholders to document requirements for technology solutions.  You will develop user stories and product backlogs for one or multiple products.  You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the business needs, analyze processes and identify opportunities to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and serve as a liaison between end-users, product management, and development to gather, analyze, and document user requirements such as use cases, process flow diagrams and data flow diagrams. Translate these requirements into user stories.
  • Work with product team to develop test plans and test scripts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different groups to ensure that project goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain product backlog(s) and coordinates with others on dependent stories.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, driving the discussion for sprint planning and user story refinement.
  • Clarify requirements questions during sprint testing.
  • Lead the user story refinement ceremony by driving the discussion and providing clarification.
  • Act as a Product Owner on a "fill-in" basis for the Product Strategy Manager or the business.
  • Field questions from stakeholders / end users during user acceptance testing and performs triage; identify potential options to aid in the resolution process.
  • Consider cost effectiveness while conducting gap analyses to identify solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business owners and technical architects to set a strategic product direction and scope out project efforts.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
  • Write basic SQL queries to review application data to identify and triage discrepancies.
  • Analyze business processes and develop process models. Identify and raise process inefficiencies as they relate to products.
  • Provide team support and mentoring and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Meet training requirements and follows established procedures and proposes new procedures.
  • Comply with metrics to measure progress of group or department issues.
  • Provide reasonable estimates for work products.
  • Proactively improves standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience using Agile (Scrum and XP) business analysis, writing user stories and managing backlogs required.
  • Excellent business requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation.
  • Experience working with SQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of test methodologies.
  • Excellent MS Office skills

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
