The Environmental Consulting and Engineering (EC&E) Division delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. Our highly trained and experienced engineers and scientists, environmental and remediation specialists, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, and compliance specialists work with both public- and private-sector clients, delivering turnkey solutions. We address our clients’ biggest concerns around permitting, ecoservices, assessment, and remediation, while ensuring data management, validation, and quality assurance.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
We are seeking to add a Project Environmental Data Analyst to our Data Management team, in Valley Forge, PA (Hybrid). In this mid-level role, you’ll work with cutting-edge tools like EarthSoft’s EQuIS™ to support environmental projects and help unlock valuable insights from data. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, develop new applications and programs, and drive innovation to enhance our data management processes.
This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Process electronic data files into EarthSoft’s EQuIS database schema.
Manage & manipulate environmental data using database tools such as Microsoft Access, SQL Server, & SQL Reporting Services
Run, modify, or develop reports & queries to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Management and archiving of digital files.
Respond to client data requests.
Prepare solutions, demonstrations, & presentations.
Monitor and report on project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Automation of technical and business processes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops.
Perform other duties as assigned.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
High school diploma with 5 or more years’ experience with applicable skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Access.
Power Automate / Power BI / SQL / VBA experience.
Report generation experience.
Knowledge of EQuIS.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Computer literate - capable of performing tasks such as: creating spreadsheets; composing correspondence; manage databases; and create presentations, reports, and documents using desktop software and digital graphics.
Exhibit professionalism in dealings with other employees, customers and suppliers.
Detail-oriented.
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
