Team/Role Overview
The goal of the Strategic Ledger Program is to implement a new global financial accounting and general ledger platform that provides a daily ledger in every legal entity. A single, universal Ledger with a unified chart of accounts, reducing approx. 250 accounting engines to 10-20 accounting hubs. We will establish a single global Ledger operating model and end-to-end business process automated through Oracle, replacing multiple manual processes. Migrating from ~100 ledgers and ledger standards today with a single global Citi ledger design template, initially rolled out in CBNA London Branch, before expanding to EMEA, Asia, LATAM and NAM.
The program will run through to the end of 2030. Operations will be part of the end-to-end process and the OOE team will be the focal point to define, establish, and implement best in class operational capabilities aligned to the future state architecture, notably an intraday cash subledger which will service both internal and client cash requirements.
