Master Data Analyst
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are seeking a Master Data Analyst, to work on-site in our Columbus, Ohio location. This position will monitor, analyze, and ensure the quality of data within Allied Mineral systems across different business units. Collaborates with various stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues and help implement data governance practices. Validate, cleanse, and transform data to ensure it meets Allied Mineral's standards and requirements. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for an unlimited time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Develop reports and dashboards to track data quality trends and issues.
- Document data quality issues, solutions, and data profiling results.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in data quality management processes
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and Allied Mineral functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain) to address data quality issues
- Communicate data quality findings to stakeholders and assist in root cause analysis.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data quality initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Stay up to date with data management technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 4 years of experience as a Master Data Analyst or Data Quality Analyst, ideally in an SAP environment.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA) and their data structures.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent Excel and Access database skills.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Familiarity with data profiling and data cleansing techniques.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for an unlimited time.
