TJX Europe is looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Logistics & Supply Chain Analytics team. This role will support the function and help deliver Logistics and Distribution goals. Reporting into the Logistics Manager – Supply Chain Analytics you will be responsible for working with the Analytics team and its business partners to gather requirements and develop Dashboards and Visualizations to support decision making through the department. Strong technical skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external business partners to help support TJX Europe’s business intelligence needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Analytics Manager and Analytics Business Partner to execute the TJX Europe Supply Chain information needs and support decision-making


• Work with internal and external partners to gather requirements and formulate and communicate plans to deliver solutions in a timely manner


• Take business requirements and develop and BI solutions for ad hoc visualization requests as well as persistent / automated dashboards


• Work with data architects to ensure that data sets are structured appropriately to support accurate BI solutions


• Feed into both the planning and execution of the ‘pipeline’ of development of new business intelligence solutions


• Draw on developments from across the industry to support the continuous improvement of TJX Europe’s BI solutions

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Proven skillset in Microsoft Power BI, and other BI applications


• Track record of delivering BI solutions that provide clear, meaningful, and practical insights to business partners


• Good working knowledge of SQL preferred


• Strong understanding and preferably experience of Supply Chain


• Experience of working in a project environment, able to work in a team and self-sufficiently to meet deadlines
