Human Resources Power BI Data Analyst

 

Your main responsibilities

The HR Power BI Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support strategic and operational HR decisionmaking. This role transforms complex data into clear, actionable insights by leveraging Power BI, HRIS data sources, and advanced analytics techniques. The HR Power BI Data Analyst partners closely with HR leadership, HRPBs, and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all HR reporting.


Responsibilities:
Power BI Development & Reporting
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support HR metrics, KPIs, and business insights.
• Create automated data visualizations for areas such as HR analytics, headcount, attrition, talent acquisition, performance, compensation, succession, learning, development, contractors that address strategic challenges, delivering actionable insights and scalable reporting to support the HR function.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency by validating source data, monitoring outputs, and documenting assumptions, logic, and metric definitions.
• Partner with HR business partners, talent acquisition, compensation, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
PowerApps Development
• Develop, maintain, and document PowerApps solutions in partnership with the IT department to support HR workflows, data collection, and automation needs.
• Ensure PowerApps integrations are aligned with HR data governance standards and deliver an intuitive user experience.
• Document, test, and deploy enhancements or new app functionalities as required.
• Proactively improve workflow efficiency and system reliability through automation and process optimization.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve data workflows.
Data Management & Analysis
• Extract, clean, and transform HR data from multiple sources, mainly SuccessFactors and Excel files.
• Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support HR strategies.
• Perform regular data validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity across reports.
HRIS Support 
• As part of the HRIS, support with employee data entry or maintenance tasks during peak periods, outages, or special projects.
• Ensure data entry is completed accurately and in compliance with HR data standards

 

What you bring

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or HR analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, Power Query, relationships, measures).
• Experience building or maintaining PowerApps.
• Solid understanding of HR data, metrics, and HR processes.
• Experience working with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors is a plus).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with HR reporting tools or database querying (SQL).
• Exposure to workforce planning, predictive analytics, or statistical analysis.
• Ability to translate complex data into simple, intuitive storytelling for non-technical 
audiences.

Base Salary $101,300 - $120,600

The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
