HR Data Analyst

We are currently seeking an HR Data Analyst to join our growing HR People Analytics team. This role serves the entire HR function and is involved with the most critical and innovative operational, business, and people analytics initiatives.

The People Analytics team’s important and growing role is to provide “Business Intelligence” to the HR function, with a special focus on process optimization and our employee experience. We develop and implement methodologies to identify trends, support data-driven decision-making, and evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives. We work closely with HR leadership, business partners, and IT professionals to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: HR Data Analyst

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote and Skokie, IL or Warrenville, IL)

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours.

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required for team events, on-site presentations, and team meetings.

What you will do:

  • Manage and prioritize report and analysis requests from a case queue.

  • Share existing HR metrics with stakeholders and work towards creating new, relevant metrics.

  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to assist in various projects.

  • Conduct intermediate to advanced data analysis using basic statistical techniques.

  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to HR and business leaders.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support HR initiatives.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation and processes.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in HR analytics and data management.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience with functional HR systems or HRIS experience, preferably in a Healthcare environment. Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, is a plus.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other statistical software.

    • Basic understanding of statistical methods and their application in HR analytics.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    • A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

    • Basic programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and automation.
