We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2–3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

About the role:
The FP&A Data Analyst builds the analytical backbone that connects financial systems, BI tools, and decision‑makers. This hybrid role (finance + data + BI) owns the transformation of fragmented, manual reporting—starting with Product Profitability and core FP&A dashboards in Domo—into standardized, automated, and scalable reporting used across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
• Standardize the Product Profitability report by consolidating data sources into a repeatable, automated process with direct system connections, replacing manual spreadsheets.
• Streamline and standardize FP&A dashboards in Domo, ensuring consistent logic, definitions, and refresh cycles.
• Develop repeatable methods to transform and reconcile data from multiple source systems (ERP, CRM, data warehouse) into concise, governed enterprise reporting.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT/Data teams to expand self‑service insights at scale.
• Collaborate with FP&A to enhance pricing analytics and strengthen the link between pricing strategy and financial performance.
• Design, document, and maintain end‑to‑end process documentation for all reporting workflows to ensure continuity, auditability, and clean handoffs.
• Evolve productivity and performance measures; translate them into automated analytics and leadership dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, reducing turnaround time and error rates.
• Serve as a subject‑matter resource on data standardization, reporting governance, and dashboard design for Finance.
Key Knowledge and Skills
• Working knowledge of FP&A concepts (variance analysis, budgeting/forecasting, margin/profitability, pricing analytics).
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Domo or comparable BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong data‑wrangling skills: SQL and/or Excel (Power Query, pivots, advanced formulas); Python or similar scripting a plus.
• Experience designing/improving data pipelines and integrations between source systems and reporting platforms.
• Ability to translate ambiguous, cross‑functional requests into structured, repeatable reporting solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Key Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data/Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related field required; equivalent practical experience (4+ years directly relevant analytics work) may be considered.
• 3–5 years in data analytics, financial analytics, FP&A, or BI, with ownership of reporting/dashboard projects.
Preferred:
• Experience in PE‑backed environments supporting executive reporting and rapid scaling.
• Track record of standing up net‑new reporting processes or leading data standardization initiatives.
• Exposure to product/customer‑level profitability analysis in technology, software, or defense/government contracting.
• Familiarity with data governance or data cataloging in a finance context.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$98,900.00-143,600.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
