The purpose of the Senior Digital Business Analyst is to support the CRO & Digital Product Manager in project delivery. This will involve active participation in the design, planning and build phases of the Project lifecycle. They will ensure all web development is technically reviewed, has a supporting business case and is aligned to the V3/V4 Product.
They will ensure that there is a clearly defined specification and manage any change requests related to these.
In this role the Senior Digital Business Analyst will support with the ownership of the Product development lifecycle, from product pipeline, scope, QA and Testing and release communications.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for technical scoping and solution provision for all digital development requirements from all channels across the RI Group to include but not limited to the M&I Digital team, M&I Category team, the in-country marketing teams and all other RI Group functions.
The role’s key responsibilities will include:
▪ In-line with RI’s project management framework, create, maintain and continuously improve a robust and structured process for technical scope and solution design to support the ongoing development of the RI web platform.
▪ Complete technical reviews, interrogate and define the high level requirements for the requests received; work collaboratively with the Requestor and the CRO & Digital Product Manager, ensuring all requests are fully documented and finalised before investigating and providing design solution options.
▪ Review the business case of the requests, aligning this to V3 Product and the overall goals of the RI web development, ensuring it is thoroughly interrogated and validated.
▪ In response to finalised HLR, document and communicate design solution options in the form of a formal document, compiled using a number of inputs such as their own technical knowledge and experience, but primarily input from Web Team
Manager and other Web Developers, UX and Customer Journey Specialist and Digital Content Manager and any relevant external resources.
▪ Following accepted design solution options, create functional and technical specifications to include time and costing (when applicable) estimates to be accepted prior to build phase of any work / project.
▪ Use version control in all documentation created.
▪ Management of all design solutions that require Digital Board approval, ensuring that these documents are submitted to the Digital Board as per the agreed process flow; with all DB decisions communicated back to Business/Project stakeholders
▪ Manages all change control activities and associated documentation.
Essential
▪ Full current driving licence
▪ Excellent English written and verbal communication skill
▪ High level of attention to detail
▪ Previous experience in business analysis preferred
▪ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Desirable
▪ Previous experience in a Digital Technical role
