Database Administrator

Job Overview: Our Austin, MN client is seeking to add a Oracle Database Administrator to their team. 

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database and application software.
• Manage and maintain applications such as Weblogic, Oracle E-Business Suite or other similar applications.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Ensure database security and data integrity.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Support development teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining application schemas.
• Perform regular database patching and upgrades.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Applications DBA.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Database (12c, 19c) and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).
• Experience with Proven experience as an Oracle Applications DBA.
• database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
• Proficient in SQL  - including both DDL and DML., PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
• Strong working knowledge with Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting.
