ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:

• Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
• Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues
• Installs and/or upgrades the mainframe product in the related environment
• Competent to work in most phases of database management
• Under general direction, designs, implements and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, guidelines, and statistical methods
• Directs the monitoring, administering and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database
• Maintains database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design
• Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience
• ITIL v4
• IAT Level II Certification
• Education/experience in on of the following:
  • SQL
  • Metalogix Suite

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:

• II: 13+Years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

• Sitting for long periods
• Standing for long periods
• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
• Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
• Travel by land or air transportation 15 %
