Position Description – What the Role Entails:
The Data Analyst Specialist transforms program and client service data from the Community Engagement and Supportive Services division and the Illinois Welcoming Center into accurate, timely, and actionable information for program leadership, funders, and agency executives.
The role designs and maintains the division’s reporting infrastructure – recurring reports, dashboards, and performance metrics tied to grant and contract deliverables – and analyzes service utilization, client demographics, and program outcomes to inform operational decisions. The analyst also owns data quality for the division, defining standards and resolving the root causes of reporting errors rather than correcting records one at a time, while safeguarding confidential client information under all applicable privacy regulations.

The Data Analyst Specialist must be able to perform the essential functions of this role in an office-based environment, including prolonged periods working at a computer workstation and regular use of standard office equipment. The role requires occasional travel between Rincon offices and program locations to meet with program staff, gather requirements, and support monitoring or compliance activities.
