We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team at Naas! We are on the lookout for somebody who is passionate, energetic and curious about working with data in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment and who is comfortable working independently and bringing their expertise to the fore, whilst also contributing to the overall team and its goals.

 

Integrated Operations (IO) in Kerry involves the key operational business functions – Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Safety and Customer Care. The IO Data Analyst role is critical in enabling IO to deliver on its goals of “safety first, quality always”, world class customer service and industry leading IO function.

 

The ideal candidate will support in achieving these goals by leveraging high levels of data enablement, business intelligence and advanced analytics to work with business stakeholders to generate actionable insights from large and complex datasets.

What you'll be doing

Data Enablement

  • Gather, cleanse and transform data from Kerry’s core systems.
  • Generate dashboards using visualisation tools (Power BI).
  • Become a subject matter expert in data and analytics.
  • Challenge existing mindsets to bring alternative value to data analytics in a collaborative manner.

 

Business Intelligence – Using data enablement.

  • Generate actionable insights to inform key business decisions.
  • Communicate and collaborate in the development of insights to key stakeholders across the organisation ranging from IO to Commercial and RD&A colleagues.
  • Deliver value using data and analytics across Plant Leadership Teams and key IO stakeholders.

 

Advanced Analytics

  • Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create opportunities for strategic and operational improvements.
  • Utilise predictive analytics to turn insight into foresight to help mitigate future risk and identify future value levers.
  • Bringing your expertise and using all of the above, to develop actionable insights to protect and further enhance Kerry’s offerings to its customers and employees.

What you can bring to the role

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science or post graduate qualification in Data Analysis.
  • Significant experience working as Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing organisation or related field.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Experience in delivering effective data and insights through predictive analytics.
  • Proficient in using Power BI with track record of generating intuitive dashboards.
  • Outstanding analytical and numerical skills with experience using statistical techniques and concepts.
  • The capacity to conduct data quality control and validation.
  • The ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, conversing knowledgably to positively influence business decisions.
  • Intellectual curiosity showing an ability to dive deeper than surface results.
  • Knowledge & experience of SAP is desirable.
