Job Description
Performs a variety of professional data management and data analysis duties required to support the assigned office; performs complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on operational tracking, business trending, systems initiatives, and/or management decision-making; tracks and validates data and systems for accuracy and completeness; recommends changes to support the continual development of information sources; creates and presents queries, reports, documentation, dashboards, and/or other visualizations that communicate analytic findings to a wide variety of stakeholders; provides guidance and training on data structure, information access, analysis techniques, and data management tools.

Required

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in data science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, statistical reporting, or related specialty, some of which shall have included working with data visualization tools.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Knowledge of current theory, practices, materials, and methods used in data analysis, data validation, research approach, and best practices in business process and procedure workflow design.
  • Knowledge of database management and analysis software.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Skill in time management, project management, and timeline development.
  • Ability to problem-solve multifaceted issues by analyzing information and evaluating results.
  • Ability to present complex data findings effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to provide guidance and training to other staff members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with web application development.
