This role focuses on
analysing and translating data between legacy and future -state systems, rather
than reporting or dashboarding. You’ll work at the intersection of
business, data, and technology, ensuring data is accurate, aligned, and fit for
purpose throughout the transition.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>- Analyse and compare current -state and future -state data.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Map data between legacy and target systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Identify gaps, risks, and data quality issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Validate future -state data against business and regulatory needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Work closely with business, data engineering, and architecture teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Document data mappings, transformations, and findings.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Support testing during system migration and decommissioning.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>- Strong background as a Data Analyst in complex data environments.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Advanced SQL skills (including translating logic from tools such as SAS). <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Experience with legacy system migration or SAS decommissioning.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Proven data mapping and gap analysis experience.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Financial services background (insurance preferred).<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Strong analytical skills and clear communication.<\/span><\/span>
