Job Description

The ASOS Cyber team require the capabilities of a Data Analyst to help bring to life data from the Threat and Vulnerability Management function. The team is responsible for proactively helping to secure ASOS systems and utilises various tools, both internally developed and off the shelf products.  We support the business in helping to prioritise risk, ensuring both our customer data and our systems are secure at all times.  This is a growing team in a new function with lots of scope to grow and innovate.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be pivotal in developing reports, dashboards and scorecards to support the team in both our reactive, proactive and project led activities.  You will take the lead in building out the necessary data sets from disparate sources to help to reduce costs and effort in remediation activities, working closely with the Cyber Incident Response and Threat Intelligence team where needed.  You’ll naturally build new skills in Cyber Security and help to reduce noise from our Industry leading suite of tools, whilst looking for innovative ways to bring in data from none-standard sources. Innovation will be at the heart of everything you do, introducing automation and Natural Language Processing where appropriate.

Qualifications

About you: 

  • The ideal candidate will have skills in some or most of the following:
  • Excellent analytical skills and a good knowledge of industry leading reporting tools, ideally including Power BI, Grafana, SQL or similar products.
  • The ability to join and ingest data from various sources and transform this data to be used for risk management and presentation to stakeholders,
  • Knowledge of natural language processing
  • Proven skills in developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and interactive dashboards,
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and integrations with other products.
  • A knowledge of Cyber Security and Risk Management, preferably backed by an understanding of IT Infrastructure or Software development.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with an ability to convey information to a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and none technical.
  • A knowledge of Application Security Posture Management tools would be advantageous.
