Position Overview: This individual provides support to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Analytics. This office is responsible for data collection, reporting and analysis of institutional effectiveness. Located in the Enrollment Management division, this team supports the data management of the institution, while focusing on the enrollment goals and strategy for the College. The Data Analyst & CRM Support Specialist will support data collection and analysis along with the configuration, coordination and daily management of the enrollment CRM (Slate) - the point of entry for student data.
Schedule & Benefits: This is a full-time, year-round position located in Allentown, Pennsylvania with a scheduled work week of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Mon-Fri, plus a 60-minute unpaid lunch period). Characteristic Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
Design, test, format, quality assure, and analyze standard, customized, and ad hoc reports to support emerging initiatives at all phases of the enrollment funnel.
Assist with analysis of data and statistics/projections, at the direction of the Director of Institutional Research & Enrollment Strategy.
Maintain best practices and data standards to continually improve processes and outcomes.
Lead and leverage the expertise of admissions staff and technology partners to ensure applicant information at all stages of enrollment funnel is captured and managed strategically and in support of meeting enrollment goals.
Collect, organize, and assist with analysis of cross-institutional data in support of external and internal institutional reporting requirements and other work in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Analytics.
Data Platform Optimization & Development
Create and implement Slate hosted forms, queries, portals, and processes to enable admission, financial aid, and operations staff to perform their daily responsibilities most efficiently and accurately.
Assist in the on-going technical evolution of the enrollment CRM (Slate).
Document processes, develop a procedure manual, and provide support and CRM training to staff on an ongoing basis for the professional development of users.
Incorporate new Slate features and trends into the Muhlenberg instance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
Experience with Slate CRM or another relational database
Commitment to student success, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
Initiative to develop new skills and learn new subject content
Personal skills emphasizing professionalism, discretion and confidentiality essential
Attention to detail and accuracy essential
Knowledge of SPSS, Stata, R, Python, and/or other programming languages
Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
