About the team:

You will be working as a key member of the Operations Intelligence team responsible for data and insights into the Enterprise operations. You’ll be joining a team that is at the heart of what Worldpay deliver for our merchants that operate across the globe.

As part of the wider Enterprise Operations team, you will be a fundamental component of driving the change in Worldpay’s Enterprise offering through the delivery of insights.

The payments industry is going through a period of rapid change and growth, and insights into customers and our operations to support customer needs is critical to win in this space. This opportunity would put you at the centre of this, driving insights to inform business strategy.

The role is London based although the overall Enterprise Operations team is spread across the UK and other countries.

What you’ll own:

You will support the Enterprise Operations teams by:

• Delivering reports, dashboards and ad hoc insights into end-to-end operations performance and trends, investigating data anomalies and ensuring a single source of truth
• Compile data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data models
• Working with operational leaders to drive performance & process improvements
• Interpreting data to discover patterns and identify trends, you will create timely, relevant and actionable insights that will be highly impactful
• Work with business leaders to identify, define and develop new metrics that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies
• Continuously improving & automating internal processes

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or another degree with quantitative focus
• 3+ years related experience, working with varied and complex data, and collaborating with business leaders to drive meaningful change through insight.
• Experience in Querying, extracting, and transforming large data sets and leveraging data from various sources.  Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL
• Experience building insightful and intuitive dashboards using visualisation tools e.g. PowerBI.
• Strong Excel skills, and extensive experience using Excel for analysis.
• The ability to transform data into insights which can be presented/communicated to senior stakeholders across the business.
• Proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a drive & passion to work with business teams to drive improvements. Strong sense of ownership and proactivity in whatever work you deliver.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
