Wastequip is looking for a Data Analyst for the Jurupa Valley, CA location. The main objective for this role is to conduct on-going management of data that is used in Wastequip applications for quoting, invoicing, contract management and service delivery. This position will report to SalesOps for the Parts, Tarps, & Service Division. Along with daily reporting, analysis projects will be assigned to better our understanding of our company as well as where we can benefit from generating Standard Operating Procedures. Since the position will physically be in our new site Jurupa Valley, they will assist with facilitation customers should there be walk ins to the correct location reps to help them.


Essential Job Responsibilities:



  • Perform change management for the required data changes.

  • Manage and validate requests for new data or changes to current data, including associated information.

  • Work closely with the SalesOps team to optimize the standardization of data in the applications in scope.

  • Ensure that new services and relevant changes will be reflected accurately and in a timely manner in the data management systems

  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and improvement of policies, processes and procedures with regards to data management.

  • Manage and validate requests for new data or changes to current data and ensure that new services and relevant changes are reflected accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with various functions to ensure skills and service alignment.

  • Prepare daily KPI/Dashboard reports for transparency of Backlog, Labor Utilization etc.

  • Assist in Customer facilitation to either Service or Parts group associates when walk in’s come into the location.


 


Ensure data accuracy



  • Proactive in their approach to the management of the data and will periodically request updates from regional and corporate data owners to ensure that the data is current and up to date.

  • Ensure that all data is collected and published and support the application of data governance, processes and policies.

  • Manage data and associated information, in the data management systems and ensure alignment with major business systems.

  • Work with divisions to ensure data is leveraged & SOPs are followed.

  • Support periodic checks on data usage in business units.


 


Experience and Qualifications:



  • 4 Year bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • 2 Year degree with 3 years of relevant working experience

  • Displays a client service orientation with the required integrity and communication skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Displays resilience and can retain their composure in stressful situations.

  • Self-motivated, result driven team player who is able to work unsupervised to deliver results.

  • Candidate should have experience with business ERP Systems in the past.

  • The candidate needs professional skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel and ideally including Microsoft SharePoint and the ability and willingness to learn new tools and systems.

  • Be pro-active, resourceful and capable of a high level of self- management based on achieving business objectives.
