DMC Healthcare are looking for an individual who has proven experience of collecting, analysing, and interpreting healthcare data. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet the challenges of working to deadlines.
DMC Healthcare provides primary and community-based specialist healthcare services nationally. Our services currently include GP surgeries in London, as well as Dermatology (including minor surgery), Endoscopy, Gastroenterology, and radiology reporting. The service is managed from referral to treatment (or discharge), and we work directly with the NHS across England.
The Data Analyst will be especially skilled in data interpretation and business report creation, as well as NHS KPI and RTT reporting. The post holder will provide service reports to Senior Management, as well as NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and NHS Trusts.
The Data Analyst will liaise with the management team, clinicians’ liaison, and other associated staff and will be required to frequently liaise closely with internal and external business partners to ensure timely creation of reports and data.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below;
Data Collection and Management:
Collect, clean, and organize healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records, administrative databases, and surveys.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, adhering to NHS data governance and privacy policies.
Data engineering to build data pipelines through integration and API's.
Set-up and maintain automation mind sets for any manual data jobs.
Data Analysis:
Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform healthcare policies and practices.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Clinic Planning and Coordination:
Build and validate predictive models to forecast patient demand and resource utilisation, working closely with the service/administration management team to adapt rotas so they meet demand but remain within budget and in line with delivering contractual requirements.
Work with the rostering team to ensure clinics are scheduled according to demand and capacity plans.
Collaborate with clinical teams to identify opportunities for early intervention and prevention.
Workforce Analysis:
Analyse workforce requirements, productivity, and capacity.
Provide insightful reports to the management team to aid in the effective delivery of clinics.
Invoice Management:
Provide the necessary financial data to the service manager in for invoice approval.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure invoices are correctly allocated per contract.
Provide the finance team with necessary data for client invoicing and clinician/contractor billing promptly.
Reporting and Presentation:
Develop and deliver on all contractual data requirements including but not limited to RTT, SUS, KPI, and waiting list validation.
Build a data warehouse as a unified data layer for all data sources
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and NHS ICBs/Trusts.
Present complex data analyses in a clear and understandable manner to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
Maintain dashboard for monthly operational reports for radiology clients (NHS trusts, private providers, and clinical trial organisations), including volume, TAT, and study issue tracking in line with client-specific contractual requirements.
Data Quality Assurance:
Work closely with the administration manager, service manager and clinicians’ liaison to champion data quality initiatives.
Ensure that data requirements are understood across the organisation and that data input into systems is accurate and reliable for reporting purposes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, and IT professionals, to address healthcare challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics and healthcare technologies.
Suggest process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the organisation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
Bachelor's degree of 2:2 or higher
Proven experience in data analysis and coordination.
Azure cloud solution architecture experience.
SQL skills to build production queries.
Control version skills such as Github to manage data projects and CI/CD environment.
SQL server migration skills.
Power BI/Tableau
Power BI/Tableau
Data modelling skills.
Ability to build data warehouse as a unified data layer for all data sources.
Project management skills.
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a diverse team.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Current cloud-based office and collaboration tools and software ability – ideally MS Office, Teams, One Drive etc
Desirable
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare data analysis, business administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of NHS regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Experience in using NHS IT software such as SystmOne, EMIS, and eRS.
Knowledge of NHS data requirements such as SUS, PLCM, etc.
Knowledge of Python
