Oakbridge is seeking a Data Analyst to provide data solutions aligned with our business strategies. This newly created position will support our existing team in developing, maintaining, and enhancing BI solutions to help the executive team and business units analyze financial performance and underlying trends for strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate with VP of FP&A and CIO to develop, maintain, and enhance BI solutions, focusing on data wrangling, quality management, and report development.
  
  
  
  
  
  

  Data Lakehouse Optimization

  
  
  
  
  • Optimize the Databricks data lakehouse for efficient data processing and analytics.
  
  
  
  
  
  

  Power BI Reporting

  
  
  
  
  • Develop and manage Power BI reports to meet business needs.
  
  
  
  
  
  

  Stakeholder Collaboration

  
  
  
  
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and reporting issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or related field.
  
  
  • 2-4 years of experience in data integration and BI platform development.
  
  
  • Technical experience with ETL pipelines.
  
  
  • Proficiency in Databricks, Power BI, and SQL.
  
  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business concepts.
  
  
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  
  
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to learn and grow
  
  
  • Experience interacting with/presenting to senior leadership
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  

  Preferred Skills:

  
  
  
  
  • Experience with Python or Scala for data processing in Databricks.
  
  
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  
  
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  
  
  • Familiarity with the Insurance Brokerage business model.
