Responsibilities

The primary function of the Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) program (formerly Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures data is gathered and evaluated promptly and in line with predefined quality standards.
  • Helps resolve technical or administrative challenges related to gathering and sharing data.
  • Uses conventional data collection tools to analyze data on a daily basis, reviewing reports and surveys from data collection systems to ensure data and responses meet quality, accuracy, and completeness criteria.
  • Utilizes analytical skills in data collection tools and statistical methods to support the RDT&E community in analyzing data and uncovering trends.
  • Automates processes, including data cleaning and generating analysis reports, whenever feasible.
  • Implements solutions for data collection and analysis while adhering to industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field. Desired M.S. degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
  • 2+ years data analysis experience and demonstrated expertise in relevant software development frameworks.
  • Software programing experience (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, R).
  • Candidate should demonstrate abilities to understand difficult problems, distill large amounts of data, derive relevant conclusions from data analysis, and communicate results effectively.
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, often with minimal guidance and within rigid timelines.
  • Ability to communicate requirements clearly with external partners.
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite of products.
