We are looking for a driven & detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Purchasing team and will act as a key resource in performing robust analytics to provide meaningful business insights and support the Supply Chain Visibility & analytics initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform large-scale data analysis to extract useful business insights.
· Persist data using MS Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, or other databases.
· Data Management across multiple systems and business units (i.e. removing duplicates, standardizing data, and incorporating rules to eliminate incorrect data from entering the system).
· Create and maintain documentation for data standards (master data, reference data, data quality and integration rules).
· Make required datasets available to analytics team for discovery and model building and/or prototyping.
· Gathering requirements by performing stakeholder analyses, understanding key gaps, time objectives, user stories with a focus on business process integration.
· Support the implementation of data integration requirements and develop the pipeline of data from raw to curation layers including the cleansing, transformation, derivation and aggregation of data.
Ideal skills and Qualifications required for the position:
· Currently has a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related technical field
· 0-3 years of software engineering experience working with data
· Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent)
· Experience with SQL or other programming languages (Python, Java, and/or C++).
· Familiarity with Python (and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, sci-kit-learn) is a plus!
· Familiarity with using Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus!
· Detail and process oriented, ability to communicate complex problems and solutions, strong drive to collaborate, strong bias for action to close out problems, very comfortable working with numbers.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
