Responsibilities:


The Data Analyst will support Barrow Wise's Langley Air Force project and perform the following duties:


  • Work with the Data Quality Manager, Resource Management Office Flight Commander, Group Practice Managers, MTF commanders, or others as required to identify analytical requirements

  • Gather data from various sources, i.e., CHCS, M2, and BDQAS, for compilation and analysis

  • Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining

  • Create graphic and slide presentations as required

  • Identify data quality problems and assist in developing training plans

  • Participate in teleconferences, committees, functions, and other meetings as directed, providing relevant and timely information to these groups and assisting with decision making and process improvement

  • Participate in data quality initiatives designed to enhance MTF services

  • Perform other duties as assigned

An Ideal Candidate has:


  • US Citizenship (Eligible for a Secret Clearance)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)

  • Minimum of one-year data analysis experience supporting the federal government

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and administration is preferable

  • Knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written communication skills to create accurate documentation and presentations IAW requirements

  • Excellent ability to synthesize data from various sources and make an appropriate analysis
