Job Overview






This position is responsible for supporting North American Maintenance & Engineering by creating, updating, and auditing internal manufacturing and external third party SAP master data, aligning with our internal and external standard business processes. Responsibilities include delivering trusted data accurately and efficiently; monitor, analyze, and continuously improve master data quality and effectiveness; ensure master data integrity is maintained though governance processes and procedures; and support new Product initiatives, as we strive to exceed our internal and external customer’s expectations.

 What you will do:

 

 

  • Setup new / update existing master data fields in SAP; including but not limited to Materials, BOM’s, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions in a timely manner according to service level agreements, standard operating rules, and various supporting system applications (e.g., InterSpec, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Audit, analyze and reconcile master data fields in SAP following Governance processes and procedures on a daily and periodic basis.
  • Investigate and resolve data incidents by collaborating internally and with business partners to identify root causes, implement corrective actions using the SC MD CAR (Corrective Action Request) process.
  • Identify data improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with peers and business partners to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in decision making process to enable and optimize data governance processes and data quality monitoring processes.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of training materials and work instructions to ensure information is current and effective for end users.
  • Maintain and promote an environment of team work and collaboration. Backup team members when/where required.
  • Maintain and update current Dashboards providing data analysis through Power BI.
  • Maintain weekly report of top three downtime offenders for the Plant, and assist in data collection efforts for improvement projects.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

 

Characteristics for Success:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Effective critical thinking skills, and ability to analyze data to identify errors and root causes.
  • Strong collaboration and written / verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess a good understanding of computer and industrial networks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.








Requirements






  • 2 years of experience to include master data processes & technology, data governance principles, or manufacturing process experience 
  • Prior SAP or a similar ERP system experience
  • Experience creating, updating, and maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (including but not limited to VLookUps, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc)








Total Rewards






  • Salary Range: $52,500 - $86,000 / year.
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
