Requirements

What Will You Do?

You will play a key role in designing, building and maintaining key dataset and models across the organisation which are driven from our cloud-based data lake infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with a ringfenced team of system engineers, data analysts and a delivery manager to implement best practices for data management and contribute to the overall success of our data platform. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a strong analytical background who is passionate about working on innovative data projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process and analyse data to derive insights and inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain datasets and data models.
  • Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
  • Collaborate with teams to define data requirements and goals.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and data analysis techniques.
  • Utilize statistical and analytical tools to interpret data.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality through regular audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to establish data quality policies.
  • Create and maintain data quality documentation.
  • Train and educate employees on data quality best practices.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify potential data quality problems.
  • Utilize data quality tools and technologies to improve data accuracy and consistency.

Expectations

  • 3+ years in a Data Analytics role.
  • You have good experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • You have strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyse complex datasets
  • You are proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python or R, middleware solutions such as Workato and have some experience with Snowflake, DBT or Redshift
  • You are a storyteller, who can communicate your insights to your team and cross functionally
  • You are great at prioritising, you know when to say yes and equally importantly, you know when to say no and you do that the right way
  • You are curious, asking great questions, looking to always improve how we work and how you can grow professionally and personally
