The Quality function promotes quality and compliance through the product lifecycle within the wider manufacturing and production operations at GSK’s Ware Manufacturing Site.  This entails monitoring all quality related systems, improvement procedures and documentation (including data and information), ensuring that products released have been manufactured, packaged and distributed according to all Regulatory and cGMP requirements (including appropriate certification for EU markets).

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Quality Data Manager, the Data Analyst creates, checks, and manages the update of LIMs data, SAP data and batch certificates to ensure that the Ware manufacturing site is effectively managing all relevant quality-commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

•              Create, update, and verify LIMs data changes

•              Assess and manage SAP data changes

•              Create and maintain batch certificate templates

•              Deliver updates of data in line with customer requirements to meet the site’s change, launch and new product requirements.

•              Provide first line technical support to LIMs users and batch certificate generators

•              Identify improvement opportunities for processes using GPS Continuous Improvement tools.

•              Act as SME’s for SOPs and processes used within the team.

Fixed Term Contract (FTC):  Please note that this role is expected to last circa 12-months in duration.

About You:

As this role is multi-faceted and includes liaising with a wide variety of on-site production and operations teams, you will be a self-motivated person who has experience of working in quality and/or manufacturing at a complex manufacturing site.  You will have strong people skills and you will have a strong continuous improvement mindset.  Effective written and verbal communication and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload are considered essential skills.

This role requires a degree of technical expertise; we are interested in hearing from applicants who have knowledge / experience in SAP and LIMS.

About Ware Manufacturing Site:

Medicines at Ware are presented as either Respiratory devices or in Oral Solid Dose form. The site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company’s pipeline of new medicines in these dose forms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant knowledge / experience of data-analytics (ideally gained working in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility or other highly regulated-industry).

  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.

  • Knowledge and application of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
