CT-5689; Senior Business Analyst, Investment Risk/Operations (Investment Re-platforming Programme)

The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

• Provide expertise in investment risk modelling, risk sensitivities, and quantitative analytics to support risk management objectives.
• Analyse and reconcile large and or complex data sets
• Collaborate with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office functions to understand and document business requirements for the investment re-platforming programme.
• Analyse and map current investment processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring smooth transition to the BlackRock Aladdin platform.
• Work closely with IT teams, external vendors, and other business analysts to ensure seamless integration of the Aladdin platform with existing systems.
  
  

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Extensive experience in investment data and investment operations/risk functions, with a solid understanding of front-to-back office processes.
• Proven expertise with the BlackRock Aladdin platform, including its various applications and functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives products, portfolio management, and trading processes, as well as middle office functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in analysing and reconciling large or complex data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas, macros, and preferably SQL.
• Deep understanding of risk modelling, risk sensitivities, and quantitative analytics.
• Familiarity with Asset and Liability Management (ALM) practices.

It will also be advantageous if you have:

• Hands-on experience with derivatives market utilities such as MarkitWire, Market Trade Manager, TriOptima, and triResolve.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A background in financial services, particularly in asset management or investment banking.
• Experience in delivering large-scale technology change projects, particularly in investment re-platforming initiatives.
