About the Role

 


Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Join us as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer and be at the forefront of creating and managing innovative BI and analytics solutions that empower the business with knowledge and strategic insights. In this dynamic role, you'll engage closely with stakeholders to elicit precise business and technical requirements. You will design, build, and deploy state-of-the-art BI solutions and follow projects from inception to completion.

 


As a key player, you'll continually evaluate and enhance existing BI systems, develop, and execute database queries, and perform in-depth analyses to drive business performance. Your ability to create compelling visualisations and reports will bring data to life, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

 


Responsibilities:

 



  • Define and scope solutions based on business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.

  • Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack.

  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to existing BI solutions and systems.

To be successful, you will bring:

 



  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a related domain.

  • Experience in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling and Kimball design principles).

  • In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.

  • Familiarity with established BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Crystal Reports, or Cognos).

  • Proficiency in SQL queries and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Ability to design and develop high-quality visualizations that drive data-driven decision-making.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, DAX, Power Query, and C# is an advantage.
