We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst I skilled in Banking Commercial Lending to serve as a liaison between IT, software vendors and the Commercial Lending line of business. You will establish great relationships, determine indepth understanding of business processes and strategy, analyze, document, communicate business requirements, and guide the development and configuration of systems (we are using Abrigo) to achieve business goals. Your role is to continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction, deepen relationships, and effectively manage client expectations. You must have working knowledge of the Commercial Lending / Small Business Banking line of business to provide best in class level service. This is a huge project with 30 integrations including Salesforce, Data Lake, Fiserv and LaserPro. 

 

Possible office locations include 8750 West Bryn Mawr, Chicago (near Rosemont) and an easy walk from the O'Hare Blue line, Tinley Park Illinois and Evansville Indiana.

  • Collaborate with Line of Business and technical resources to ensure features and functionality are developed according to business requirements and client needs are appropriately incorporated.

  • Complete use cases and user stories to guide application development efforts working closely with the development teams and business teams to ensure successful implementation

  • Evaluate existing business processes against industry standards, identify areas for improvement and facilitate conversations with the business to drive actionable change in alignment with state priories and key results

Additional Business Analyst Competencies

  • Analysis: evaluate complex data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and work with team to make recommendations

  • Project management: plan, schedule, and track multiple and sometimes competing initiatives and be able to prioritize
  • Technical: solid grasp of SDLC, platform capabilities, best practices for development, and the translation between requirements and design

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience performing business analysis of banking commercial lending systems is required
  • Knowledge of business operations and system requirements processes
  • Experience with administration of loan origination systems, preferably Abrigo or nCino is preferred
  • Initiative and ability to build relationships with system stakeholders, team and effectively collaborate and mentor
  • Excellent organizational, data gathering, documentation and follow-up skills
  • Computer skills, including configuration of systems preferred
  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines, quickly and accurately troubleshooting issues, problem-solving and communicating with other business units
  • Position may require some to travel for meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
