About Us

Get ahead and stay ahead - Launched in July 2020, Kerv is a next-generation ‘customer-first, cloud-first’ provider, created to help customers achieve successful business outcomes in a new digital era.  We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation following the acquisition of seven highly successful organisations.

The Transformation Team is responsible for directing the design, deployment and integration of Kerv’s operating model. This includes technology, systems & business process. The team includes functions such as Enterprise/Solution Architecture, Development, Programme Management & Business Analysis.

This is an exhilarating time to join the team, with multiple new technologies being deployed and integrated across the existing practices and multiple new acquisitions in the pipeline!

About the Role

To support the growth of Kerv’s system integration demands, The Transformation Team is recruiting a new Business Analyst to join the team to assist with translating business needs into a functioning set of systems that improve integration with our customers, internally and with suppliers to enhance overall business performance.

Our Business Analysts deep dive into the current business capabilities, needs and technology gaps, and identify appropriate solutions. They support implementation and enhancement projects and are expected to manage multiple stakeholders throughout the process.

Once new solutions are installed, the Business Analyst will work through post-project tasks, such as staff training and monitoring the new systems.

Key parts of the role include:

  • Identify business needs or opportunities and outline solutions to business problems.

  • Produce business models with representation at varying levels of detail and complexity to communicate and demonstrate different scenarios, visualise data, systems and processes.

  • Initiate research and analysis to understand how the business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology.

  • Undertake options analysis, assess feasibility and operational impact, quantify potential business benefits, and contribute to business case development.

  • Support migrations and integrations of new architecture or cross-scope projects involving implementation work or testing.

  • Use an Agile approach to gather and translate business requirements.

  • Improve the quality of requirements identification and analysis; and therefore, reducing the need for re-work and fixes in later stages of projects.

Your Part to Play

  • Document ‘AS IS’ business processes and help to define and document the ‘TO BE’ business processes in collaboration with solution architects, SMEs and other senior stakeholders.

  • Collect and model business requirements and deliver recommendations within an agreed schedule, quality, and scope.

  • Collaborate with Project Management to help define scope of work documentation, including high-level requirements.

  • Interact with stakeholders and translate reported requirements/problems/issues into ADO items to implement.

  • Planning, elicitation (identification), documentation and communication of requirements – including the production of training materials or events.

  • Work with Functional Consultants (FC) & Solution Architects (SA) to develop user stories, acceptance criteria and to review the FC/SA’s approach to ensure it meets business requirements.

  • Identify Risks or Threats during analysis or BAU that negatively affect the business and add them to the risk register.

  • Work within an Agile/DevOps methodology to consistently deliver iterative improvements.

All About You

  • Be a keen team player - enjoy working as part of a team, reporting issues and risks, taking part in team meetings, share ideas and work towards improving our service

  • Comfortable with multiple project streams and delivery, a self-starter and able to effectively manage own workload and be able to work under pressure

  • Proven experience in systems migrations, business modelling, data analysis and presenting solutions to teams

  • Qualifications: Ideally have a business analyst qualification e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA

  • Work Experience - Ideally 5 yrs in a similar BA role, experience of integrating acquisitions desirable

  • Technical or process understanding of Service Delivery (ITSM) platforms or Sales (CRM) Systems desirable
