Babcock is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Operational Excellence team based in Devonport, Auckland.


 


About the role


 


As a Business Analyst with Babcock, you will lead the charge in transforming business operations through continuous improvement. By identifying key areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions, you’ll directly impact efficiency and profitability. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, using your skills to optimize processes, analyse systems, and develop data-driven strategies that support our long-term goals.

Your experience in process analysis and stakeholder engagement ensures you can identify key challenges and implement effective solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at managing multiple tasks while influencing cross-functional teams. Your deep understanding of business systems and performance metrics makes you a valuable asset, and you’re excited to bring your expertise to an organization focused on continuous operational improvement.


 


Key Required Skills


 



  • Demonstrable experience in Business Improvement

  • Strong project and change management experience  

  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship building

  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving

  • Advanced skills in MS Office and data analysis

  • Process mapping and optimization expertise

  • Ability to present briefings to all levels of management


 


Key Required Qualifications


 



  • Desirable: Lean Six Sigma Certification (or equivalent in business improvement)

  • Desirable: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
