Position Summary:

EzData Systems, Inc is currently hiring an experienced Big Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering services Practice. The role & responsibilities of the position are listed belo:

Job Description:

• Collaborate with BI teams, finalize business needs to build data visualization applications using Hadoop tools, Spark, Tableau, Python, Teradata and ETL (Informatica).
• Design/ build business-critical BI applications using Big data frameworks like Spark, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Java, SCALA, Python and Shell scripting.
• Manage and maintain the CDO (Chief Data Office) infrastructure including installation and configuration of the advanced analytics tools
• Use ML tools like Scikit - learn, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, pandas, Json to build interactive dashboards. Work on No-SQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB for POC purpose in storing images and URIs. Build sandbox solutions by designing data pipelines from AWS S3 to Hadoop Data Lake using Kafka, Data Router to perform ad-hoc and real time data analysis for users.
• Play a key role to deliver a ML/ DL project from the business need, aggregating/ exploring data, building & validating predictive models, deploying completed models to deliver desired results to the organization.
• Use SparkML and Amazon Machine Learning (AML) to help content providers build ML models. Use Deep Learning frameworks like MXNet, Caffe 2, Tensorflow, Theano, CNTK, Keras to build DL models.

Required qualifications:

Education: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a combination of education and experience equating to the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Experience: This position also requires 3 years of prior hands-on project experience in the above-mentioned areas, with in-depth expertise in building BI applications. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the enterprise from executives to developers is required.
